SafeSign Identity Client 3.0 for MAC OS X released

A.E.T. Europe B.V. (AET) has released version 3.0 of their middleware for smart cards and USB tokens SafeSign Identity Client on the MAC OS X platform.

SafeSign Identity Client (IC) 3.0 for MAC OS X 10.4 / 10.5:

• has a modular architecture, for faster integration of new cards and functionality.
• supports several new smart cards and tokens, like
  
  • NXP JCOP21/31/41 v2.3
  • Sagem Orga J-IDMark 64
  • ST Incard Touch & Sign2048
  • Athena IDProtect (Duo)
  • Siemens CardOS 4.3B
  • RSA Smart Card 5200 and SecurID SID 800
  • KEBT KONA

New versions for Linux will be released later this year, as will the SafeSign IC version for 64bits and Windows Mobile support.
