To protect your valuable data on harddisk devices, Power-on Authentication is done in pre-boot to prevent access through circumventing the operating system.

But pre-boot authentication is mostly based on username – password, which is a weak form of authentication. Access to the Management Center needs to be secured as well by a strong authentication mechanism.

The combination of Sophos' SafeGuard Enterprise and SafeSign Identity Client (IC) makes it possible to use a strong authentication mechanism based on smart cards or USB tokens to make sure that you access your data in a save way.

It safeguards critical data with strong authentication, secure encryption, powerful central management and access control for client PC's, networks and/or applications.
